On Monday, June 18, 2018, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on Jason Lawson, 51 years of age, of the 300 block of Golden Cherry Drive, Grover, Missouri 63040, for three counts of Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree and one count of Statutory Rape in the First Degree. Lawson is being held on a $250,000 cash only bond. A photo of Lawson is attached.


The probable cause statement alludes to: Between June 56, 2006 and May 31, 2008, Defendant put M.B.’s hand on his penis, and M.B. was less than 12 years old. Between June 1, 2014 and June 1, 2016, Defendant performed sexual acts with of S.E. S.E. was less than 12 years old.


Detectives from the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons conducted the investigation and presented the case to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office where the above charges were issued.


The girls victimized by Lawson were known to him at the times of the incidents and residing in the same neighborhood as him. That neighborhood is The Manors at Cherry Hills within the City of Wildwood Precinct.


Although there are no other victims who have came forward at this time, the St. Louis County Police Department is asking if anyone believes they may have been victimized by Lawson to call detectives at 314-615-5400.
