On Thursday, June 14, 2018, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on Brian Clay, 42 years of age, of the 5700 block of Wilborn Drive, St. Louis, MO, 63136, for one count of Murder in the 1st Degree, one count of Robbery in the 1st Degree, one count of Armed Criminal Action, and one count of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Clay is being held in the St. Clair County Jail and does not have a bond. No photo is available of Clay at this time.
The probable cause statement reads: June 13, 2018, Defendant shot Loreal Goode in the head with a
.38 revolver and took the cell phone, bank card, and vehicle belonging to Loreal Goode after Loreal Goode refused to drive Defendant to the pawnshop and to give Defendant $36 to get his TV from the pawn shop. Defendant is a convicted felon in that on August 7, 1995, Defendant was convicted of Robbery in the 2nd Degree and Assault in the 2nd Degree in the Circuit Court of St. Louis County, State of Missouri case number 2195R-03678-01.
Detectives from the St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons presented the case to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office where the above charges were issued.
