On June 2, 2019, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged suspect Robert Ward, 37 years of age, of the first block of Quintana Drive in Fenton, Missouri 63026, with one count of Murder in the Second Degree and one count of Armed Criminal Action. He is being held on a $300,000 cash only bond. A mugshot is not available at this time. 


The probable cause statement reads: Eye witnesses see the defendant stab RB repeatedly in a vehicle. The defendant then drives away with RB still inside his vehicle. RB’s body is found at a firehouse with multiple stab wounds. There are witnesses that heard a struggle at the firehouse. Another witness later calls 911 reporting that a male came into his residence covered in blood stating that he stabbed RB.


Detectives from the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are conducting the investigation.
