On Tuesday, July 9, 2019, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on suspect Terrance Wesley, 29 years of age, of the 10000 block of Crown Point Drive in St. Louis, Missouri 63136, and suspect Anthony Watkins, 30 years of age, of the 10100 block of Clairmont Drive in St. Louis, Missouri 63136. Each suspect has been charged with five counts of Murder in the First Degree, five counts of Attempted Robbery, and ten counts of Armed Criminal Action. Both are being held without a bond. Mugshots of Wesley and Watkins are attached.
The probable cause statements read: On or about July 6, 2019, in St. Louis County, Missouri, the Defendant, acting with another, forcibly attempted to rob the victims with a gun, threatening their lives. The defendants returned and shot and killed the victims. Due to the nature of the charges, the defendant is a flight risk and poses a threat to the safety of the community.
Detectives from the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are conducting the investigation.
