On August 3, 2019, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged suspects Rayshaun McDonald, 25 years of age, of the one thousand block of Raritan Drive in Rock Hill, Missouri 63119, and Themon Ryan, 32 years of age, of the one hundred block of Merryfield Circle in St. Charles, Missouri 63303, with one count of Murder in the Second Degree and one count of Armed Criminal Action. They are being held on a $75,000 bond. A previous mugshot of Ward is attached. The probable cause statement reads: Rock Hill Police respond to 1012 Rariton in response to a 911 call. Upon arrival the Rock Hill Police officers observe the victim on the parking lot ground next to a vehicle and observe Themon Ryan sitting in the vehicle. On the scene the Rock Hill Police Officers also observe Rayshaun McDonald next to the victim. St. Louis County Police take over the investigation at the request of Rock Hill. Detectives are able to determine that the vehicle is tied to Themon Ryan. A search of the vehicle leads detectives to identify it as the scene of the crime. There is a 9mm casing located in the vehicle and there is evidence of a gunshot through the front passenger seat and a blood stain. The victim is pronounced dead at the hospital and autopsy results rule the cause of death to be a gunshot wound. Detectives also located a 9mm gun in the apartment at 1012 Rariton and determine the apartment is rented to Rayshaun McDonald. Detectives from the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are conducting the investigation.
