For Immediate Release

On Saturday, November 9, 2019, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on suspect Timothy Rall, 37 years of age, of the 700 block of Vest Avenue in Valley Park, Missouri 63088, for one count of Murder Second Degree, two counts of Armed Criminal Action, and one count of Assault First Degree.  Rall is being held on $250,000 “cash only” bond.  A mugshot of Rall is attached.

The probable cause statement reads: The victim and defendant were neighbors with each other.  The investigation revealed that Anthony Morgan and the defendant got into a verbal argument at 727 Vest Avenue.  During the argument a witness, Jon Londal, heard the defendant say “I’ll do 15 to life over this”.  A struggle between the victim and the defendant ensued.  Jon Londal attempted to break up the fight when he was cut twice by the defendant with a knife.  The defendant then subsequently stabbed Anthony Morgan, causing his death.  Anthony Morgan had multiple wounds consistent with a knife injury.  The defendant fled the scene and was arrested in St. Louis City.

Detectives from the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are conducting the investigation.
