Those items were tested and DNA matching to the victim was found on the outside and on the inside of the bloody gloves. DNA matching to the Defendant was found on the inside of the gloves. The Defendant was arrested and interviewed as a result. During the interview, the Defendant admitted he attempted to rob the victim and that the victim was killed as a result.
