“I am very grateful for those that made this opportunity for improvement possible, especially our civic-minded business leaders and the team of assessors from Teneo. I am committed to improving public safety, reducing crime, and making the St. Louis County Police Department the best that it can be.” -Chief Mary T. Barton

“The Board of Police Commissioners appreciates the resources the business community and other leaders have and continue to dedicate to improving public safety in the region. The Board will carefully examine Teneo’s independent review. The results will be evaluated with the findings and recommendations of previous studies to assist in determining the best ways for the Department to improve and move forward. The Board looks forward to discussing this matter further at the January 13th meeting.” -The Board of Police Commissioners
