On Friday, March 5, 2021, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued at large warrants on suspect Bobby McCulley III, 35 years of age, of the 4800 block of Lockwig Trail in St. Louis, Missouri 63033, for three counts of Murder First Degree, three counts of Kidnapping First Degree, one count of Burglary First Degree, and seven counts of Armed Criminal Action. McCulley is currently deceased from a self inflicted gunshot wound. A previous mugshot of McCulley is attached to this release. Please note, charges are merely an accusation and the Defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
The probable cause statement for McCulley reads: On March 4, 2021, the Defendant unlawfully entered the home of Roseann McCulley with the purpose of killing her. The Defendant confined Roseann McCulley, Kayden Johnson, and Kaylee Brooks against their will. The Defendant was armed with a deadly weapon. After several hours, the Defendant caused the death of Roseann McCulley, Kayden Johnson, and Kaylee Brooks by shooting them.
Detectives from the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are leading the investigation.
