Final Suspect In Custody for Chalet Forest Double Homicide

St. Louis County, MO (May 16, 2024): On the morning of May 16, 2024, Trevor Daley was taken into custody in Warren County. We appreciate everyone’s assistance in locating this suspect.

 

St. Louis County, MO (April 4, 2024): On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued a sealed “at large” warrant on suspect Trevor Daley, 20 years of age, of the 4000 block of S. Grand Boulevard in St. Louis, Missouri 63118, for two counts of Murder Second Degree, one count of Assault First Degree, three counts of Armed Criminal Action, and Delivery of 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid – Person Less than 17 Years of Age and 2 Years Younger. A previous booking photo of Daley is attached. Daley will be held on $500,000 cash only, no 10%, bond. The warrant was unsealed on April 4, 2024.

 

Daley is not currently in custody. We are seeking assistance in locating him. The probable cause statement reads: On or about February 5, 2024, Defendants, including Trevor Daley, Zachary Hough and Tyler Coleman, acting together, spoke with the victims regarding the sale of marijuana cartridges. Victim #1 (Courtwright) entered the Defendant's vehicle and requested to see the marijuana cartridge. During the course of the drug deal, Victim #1 (Courtwright) and Victim #2 (Williams) were shot and killed. Also, during the drug deal Victim #3 (Mers) was shot and wounded.

 

St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are leading this investigation.

St. Louis County, MO (March 29, 2024): On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued “at large” charges on suspect Bryce Mers, 18 years of age, of the 100 block of Eastview Drive in Fenton, Missouri 63026, with two counts of Murder Second Degree, one count of Attempted Robbery First Degree, and three counts of Armed Criminal Action. A booking photo of Mers is attached. Mers is being held without bond. Mers was arrested on March 28, 2024.

The probable cause statement reads: On or about February 5, 2024, the defendant planned an exchange of marijuana cartridges for money via the Snapchat application with Zachary Hough. The defendant communicated to multiple other persons on February 5, 2024, that he planned to rob Zachary. At the planned exchange, the defendant arrived with Collin Courtwright and Tyree Williams. The defendant and Tyree stood outside while Collin entered a vehicle occupied by Zachary, Tyler Coleman, and Trevor Daley. During the exchange of marijuana cartridges, Collin produced a firearm, pointed it at Zachary, and announced a robbery. Trevor subsequently shot and killed Collin and Tyree and shot and wounded the defendant.

St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are leading this investigation.

St. Louis County, MO (February 7, 2024): The second deceased individual has been identified as Tyree Williams, 16 years of age, of the 700 block of 700 Erskine Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri 63125.

The investigation is ongoing. Additional information will be disseminated as it becomes available.

St. Louis County, MO (February 6, 2024): On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on suspects Tyler Coleman, 19 years of age, of the 7200 block of Becker Road in St. Louis, Missouri 63129, and Zachary Hough, 18 years of age, of the 4200 block of Massabielle Drive in St. Louis, Missouri 63129, each with two counts of Murder Second Degree, two counts of Armed Criminal Action, and Delivery of 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana. Booking photos of Coleman and Hough are attached. Each are being held on $500,000 cash only, no 10%, bond.

The probable cause statement for both Coleman and Hough reads: On or about February 5, 2024, Defendants including Zachary Hough and Tyler Coleman, acting together, spoke with the victims, Confidential Victim 1 and Confidential Victim 2 regarding the sale of marijuana cartridges. Confidential Victim 1 entered the Defendant's vehicle (in the 2800 block of Innsbruck Drive) and requested to see the marijuana cartridge. During the course of the drug deal, Confidential Victim 1 and Confidential Victim 2 were shot arid killed.

St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are leading this investigation.

Detectives are still attempting to notify next of kin regarding the death of the second deceased individual.

St. Louis County, MO (February 6, 2024): One deceased individual has been identified as Colin Courtwright, 15 years of age, of the 1000 block of Wachtel Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri 63125. Courtwright was pronounced deceased on the scene. We are still making positive identification on the second deceased individual.

St. Louis County, MO (February 5, 2024):  St. Louis County Police Department Crimes Against Persons detectives are investigating a triple shooting in the 5600 block of Chalet Forest Drive that resulted in the death of two males. One male is believed to be of adult age and one male is in his late teens.

 

At 1:50 PM, St. Louis County police officers from the South County Precinct responded to a call for service for a shooting in the 5600 block of Chalet Forest Drive. Officers located three males suffering from gunshot wounds. Two males were transported to an area hospital for treatment. One of those males (the male in his late teens) succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. A third male was pronounced deceased at the scene.

This incident does not appear to be random.
