Richard Banks was appointed to the St. Louis County Board of Police Commissioners in December 2020. Commissioner Banks is a top personal injury lawyer in the region. He has received numerous awards and honors for his work both in the courtroom and in the community. Such recognition has come from the Missouri Bar, The National Bar Association, Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, Better Family Life, The Urban League, The St. Louis American, St. Louis Magazine, Ebony Magazine and The St. Louis Argus.  Commissioner Banks received the President’s Award from the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis in 2020.
