Charges Issued for Robbery and Armed Criminal Action

St. Louis County, MO (April 8, 2024):  On Saturday, April 6, 2024, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on suspect Amir Williams, 20 years of age, of the 10300 block of Bon Oak Drive in St. Louis, Missouri 63136, for Robbery First Degree, Armed Criminal Action, Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, and Resisting Arrest for a Felony. A booking photo of Williams is attached. Williams is being held on $100,000 cash only, no 10%, bond.

 

Please note, charges are merely an accusation and Defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.

 

The probable cause statement reads: On April 5, 2024, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Defendant was one of four individuals who are observed on surveillance taking items from Mally’s Supermarket at 1855 Bella Clare Drive. The group was armed with two guns. The suspects were all observed getting into a Dodge Charger and driving off from the scene. The Charger was recently reported stolen. Police locate the vehicle and occupants shortly afterwards and conduct a stop. All occupants flee from the vehicle upon police making contact. The driver of the vehicle, this Defendant, was apprehended shortly afterwards. Two firearms were located in the driver’s side area of the vehicle.

Three juveniles (all 15-year-old males) were also taken into custody and released to St. Louis County Family Court.

St. Louis County Police Department North County Precinct officers are leading this investigation.
